Cmotions cares about your privacy and handles registered data such as e-mail addresses and names with great care. We do not sell e-mail addresses and other data to third parties. Any registration on the Cmotions website is so that we can deliver services to you, communicate with you or answer your questions. Cmotions will only use this personal data for the purposes described in our Privacy and Cookie Statement.

What is Personal Data?

Cmotions has no intention of collecting special personal data, such as information about political views, race, religious beliefs, health, crime data or other subjects.

However, it may be possible that you send a photo along with your CV for Cmotions Recruitment services, and legally this would be considered special data. You hereby give Cmotions your consent to use this for the purposes for which the CV is intended.

 

How long do we store your data?

Cmotions will not store your personal data for any longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected or for which we are legally obliged. If we wish to store them for a longer period for important reasons for you and/or us, your consent for this will be requested beforehand.

 

Do we share your data with others?

Cmotions shares your personal data with various different third parties when it is necessary to do so to execute the contract and to comply with any legal obligations. With organisations that process your data on our behalf, we enter into a data processing contract with them to ensure there is an equivalent level of security and confidentiality for your data. Cmotions remains responsible for this processing. In addition, Cmotions also supplies your personal data to other third parties (also see Cookie Statement). We will only do this with your express permission.

 

Can I inspect, change or delete my data?

You have the right to inspect, rectify or erase your personal data. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to appropriately identify yourself.
You can send a request for inspection, rectification or erasure to info@cmotions.nl. Cmotions will respond to your request as quickly as possible and within a maximum of four weeks.

 

What about the security of my data?

Cmotions takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised amendment. What about my website usage?

Our website places a cookie from the American company Google as part of their “Analytics” service. We use this service to keep track of and receive reports on how visitors use the website. At this stage we have not given Google permission to use the analytics obtained for any other Google services.

The information collected by Google is anonymised as much as possible. Your IP address is expressly not passed on. The information is transferred and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google states it will adhere to the Privacy Shield principles, and participates in the Privacy Shield programme of the U.S. Department of Commerce. This ensures an adequate level of protection when processing any personal data.

 

Mailchimp

If you have given Cmotions permission to approach you to offer our services or keep you updated on the latest developments (e.g. newsletter), we will send these communications using Mailchimp. Mailchimp collects and uses data to perform their services and offer their advertisements and advertisements of third parties. At Cmotions we are not responsible for this. You can block it at any time. The information is stored by Mailchimp on their servers in the United States. Mailchimp participates in and is certified in accordance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shields and will handle personal data in accordance with this framework. The information that they collect is anonymised as much as possible. The information is transferred and stored by Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google+ and LinkedIn on servers in the United States. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Google+ state they will adhere to the Privacy Shield principles, and participate in the Privacy Shield programme of the U.S. Department of Commerce. This ensures an adequate level of protection when processing any personal data.

Some blog articles may use content that is imported from other sources or websites and unlocked on the Cmotions website. This includes, for example, Slideshare presentations and YouTube videos. Similarly to the social buttons, these codes often also use cookies. You can find out what they do with the cookies and personal data in the Privacy Policy of the relevant service. We have no control over this.

Please be aware that social media services are used at the user’s own risk and are not scanned for privacy misuse.

We use software called Online Success. This software allows us to identify our website visitors. To identify the website visitors, we use a cookie known as a Logger. This cookie has a storage period of 2 years and contains a unique, voluntarily-generated value that enables Online Success to identify and distinguish between website visitors.
