I am the mathematician Piet A. Choras, and until recently I was serving a custodial sentence for overfitting. As I was planning my escape, I repeatedly discovered that I couldn’t do it alone, so I sought help. Teams of analysts spent a whole afternoon helping me escape from the Penitentiary Institution (π) by solving analytical (including data analysis) questions. The solutions to the analytical questions uncovered puzzle pieces that would secure my escape.
I hereby wish to thank all the participants from ABN Amro, Aegon, ANWB, Marug, PGGM, RDC and Vivat for their survival instinct, rivalry, fighting spirit and brute force in freeing me from my prison cell. I am therefore incredibly proud that it was a success and that I can now enjoy some degree of freedom. My escape was recorded by surveillance cameras, so you can see the results here:
Kind regards,
Piet A. Choras
