This year Cmotions is sponsoring the DDMA Data Day once again. The leading conference focusing on insights into customer data and how to turn these into a customer strategy. With insights from data you can offer your customers an optimal experience. This contributes to the achievement of the company objectives and leads to a higher appreciation of your customers. In other words, it’s essential! How you obtain these insights and then turn them into a customer strategy is the focus of the DDMA Data Day. The event takes places on Thursday 24 January 2019 in the Kromhouthal in Amsterdam. A conference organised by people who do great things with customer data every day, just like you do. Based on the themes Data, Decisions and Engagement, in 18 speaker slots, it will be explained how organisations successfully apply their insights into data. The DDMA Data Day is for managers and professionals on operational, tactical and strategic levels who share the goal of doing great things with customer data. These include, for example: CMOs, CTOs, CRM Managers, Chief Data Officers, CX Managers, Marketeers, Marketing Intelligence Managers, Analysts and Programme Managers.
The crème de la crème of organisations successfully applying customer data on operational, tactical and strategic levels are eligible to win the Customer Data Award. This prestigious award is presented every year. After an intensive selection process by a professional jury, the nominees for the Customer Data Award 2019 are: KPN, Zilveren Kruis and Dela. Last year, it was the KNVB that took home the prize. During the Data Day, the nominees for the Customer Data Award will present what they have achieved and how they turn data into something great.
“This year saw a huge number of entries once again. There are more of them every year and we think that’s a great sign of the growing importance of Data Driven Marketing”, explains Kees Groenewoud (Cmotions), the chairman of the jury for the Customer Data Award. “It is great to see how marketeers and organizations seem to be even more open this year to learn from the data and the insights that it provides. It appears that a marketeer’s career is increasingly becoming an empirical search in which continuous improvement is sought on the basis of ‘trial and error’,” Groenewoud continues.
DDMA has mapped out the data driven marketing sector for the third consecutive year. The results were published at the end of November. This shows that achieving a data driven company culture (40%) is the biggest challenge of data driven marketing and the budget for the chatbots channel will increase the most. These findings will return on the Data Day. The ultimate opportunity for marketeers to learn more about it!
