Cmotions is always looking for talented and motivated colleagues with the skills of the future. Of course, we also look to the employment market for future newcomers and so we are always keen to meet students! How do they see their future careers and what drives them? We had a great opportunity to talk about this and more with business analytics students from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam at the Welcome to Your Future event which was held on 9 November 2017 and we were also able to introduce ourselves: what we do, what we stand for and career prospects we offer.
Welcome to Your Future is an event hosted by the Study Association Business Analytics (SABA is an initiative of VU students). Students on this degree (which is a unique combination of maths, IT and business studies) had the opportunity at this event to find out more about various employers and what they do.
Our colleague Jeanine Schoonemann, a Senior Consultant, was asked as one of the six invited alumni from this degree programme to contribute to the event, giving a fresh and detailed presentation about her work and her clients at Cmotions. There was a fun drinks reception at the end of the event. At this reception students were able to get to know us a bit more. It was great fun to receive enthusiastic responses and questions about Cmotions, our field of work and our ambitions.
Definitely worth repeating. Let’s meet again!
“And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking, don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart you’ll know when you find it.” – Steve Jobs
